Amber's developing litigation practice includes civil rights, personal injury, class action, consumer protection, complex commercial litigation, and criminal defense.
Before joining the firm in 2014, Amber graduated magna cum laude and as a member of the Order of the Coif from the University of New Mexico Law School in 2012. While in school, she was an editor of the New Mexico Law Review and a member of the National Mock Trial Team. After graduating, Amber worked as a felony prosecutor at the Second Judicial District Attorney’s Office. Her regular courtroom practice as an Assistant District Attorney included frequent jury trials, motion arguments, and daily courtroom appearances.
Amber’s commitment to justice is informed by her experiences prior to studying law and, in particular, by her time as a Teach for America Corps Member on the Navajo Reservation. She entered the profession believing, and continues to believe, that the law can be, and is meant to be, a voice for those who would otherwise remain unheard.
