Firm sues New Mexico State Police for excessive force

Freedman Boyd Hollander Goldberg Urias & Ward P.A. attorneys David H. Urias and Jeremy D. Farris recently filed an excessive force lawsuit against the New Mexico State Police and several of its officers on behalf of a man that was beaten with a police baton while peacefully attending a protest.  Trenton Ward, the firm’s client, is a University of New Mexico Student, and was protesting Milo Yiannaopoulos’s January 27, 2017 appearance at the University during his interaction with the New Mexico State Police.  More information regarding the lawsuit can be found in the Albuquerque Journal and the Santa Fe New Mexican.
