Police Arrests a Shooting Suspect in Albuquerque

The police set a barricade and arrested a shooting suspect in Albuquerque on Sunday, October 11. According to the police, the officers responded to a shooting around 7 a.m. on Sunday.

The police arrived at the scene and found a man with a gunshot wound. They said the victim was taken to a hospital and his condition isn’t life-threatening and he will survive.

According to the police, they located the suspect in a nearby building and set up a perimeter in the area. A SWAT team and crisis negotiators arrived at the scene and stayed there for several hours before the suspect was arrested.

The police didn’t immediately publish the name of the suspect or the man who was shot.

Shooting and refusing to collaborate with the police in situations like this, is a sure way to get arrested. If something like this happens to you, you should know that you must consult a criminal defense attorney. Without a skilled lawyer, you stand a very low chance to get a milder punishment.

Representing yourself in a legal case is a challenge since you don’t have any knowledge nor practice in this area. No matter how much you try to research in books and online sources, you won’t be able to apply that knowledge in a real-life situation. Your lawyer knows what to say, when, and how to say it; there are nuances and themes that are only visible to experienced attorneys.

Your lawyer will review your case and will prepare a defense for you.

Our team at FBD Law works to help people in need of strong criminal defense on the territory of Albuquerque. If you have any questions related to any type of crime (shooting, but also, injuring another person, and so on), we will gladly answer them.
