The Texas pastor and wife killed in an accident in Tatum, New Mexico have been identified. Kenny Comstock, who was an executive pastor of Crossroads Fellowship Church in Odessa, Texas, and his wife Melissa were killed in a two-vehicle accident that occurred on September 24 . The couple’s three children were also in the car, but only the four-year-old got severe injuries. Doctors expect the child to recover completely.
According to a press release from the New Mexico Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at around 8 p.m. near Tatum, New Mexico. Kenny Comstock was driving a 2016 Ford pick-up and was struck directly when the driver of a 2011 Mercedes crossed the dividing line and drove into oncoming traffic. The police are still investigating the incident.
The police release stated that alcohol wasn’t the reason for the wreck and that all members of the Comstock family were wearing seatbelts.
